HD Video Why Hi Definition?

(But what does that mean?)

“Hi Definition” is kind of a buzz word these days, but what it refers to, in the video production world, is the number of lines of resolution in your video. This becomes important when you’re uploading your video to a platform like YouTube, or when you want to take full advantage of your big HDTV.

Our pro Sony and Canon HD camera packages and top of the line editing systems award us the ability to shoot and edit in hi definition, so regardless of whether we’re exporting to a Blu-Ray disc, a standard DVD, or uploading to the web, we want to make sure that the quality of your footage is as good as it can be. (Why settle for less than the best?)

If standard def is your thing, down-conversion is never a problem. We can output the final edit to a standard DVD that will play universally, but we’ll always have the full resolution footage (which we can revisit when you do get that Blu-Ray player and want the full HD experience)!
